360 Days of Great Finds #1: Black All the Way

Being full and flabby makes it even more difficult to find any decent piece of clothing that wouldn't draw negative attention from other people. Hence, I am so grateful to have a good selection of black clothes in my not-so-wonderful closet.

JUNE Must Haves

A bucketlist of nice things ought to be a good start to finding my mojo in this entire self-expression thingy. I was quite amazed to realize that after wearing a couple of "girly girl" outfits in the office, I kind of felt nice. Wearing a skirt and a dress doesn't hurt much. Not as horrendous as I imagined it to be.

Still, I have a long way to trek to shred off some flabs and be even more fab! For now, I'll just keep on musing over LookBook's great finds.

#1 MUST-HAVE: bright (red) pumps

This pair looks heavenly even with the white socks on. I also do love the dress but would prefer to pair the shoes with a different shade. Think pastel and neutral to make the pumps stand-out some more! (See picture below)

#2 MUST-HAVE: nifty long-sleeved blouses

I am nowhere near being fashionable let alone a guru in this entire "love yourself" way of fixing myself, yet, I realize what's beautiful will never be otherwise. Look at this lovely jean blouse. It is just too perfect for a blazer. LOVELY!

No matter how many "others" are there vying for this very look, I would still pretty much go ahead with it. This is effortless. The blouse is really classy. The entire look so neatly put-up by this genius girl is retro-like yet not too much. Just like my taste.

#3 MUST-HAVE: a pair of boots to match a beautiful dress

Never been fond of boots until after seeing this beauty. This pair is just magnifique.

#4 MUST-HAVE: chiffon and crocheted skirts

A trusty skirt would never fail you. Mind you my waistline is far from 28 inches but not more than 31 inches (You get the idea, right?). Despite this very cruel fact, I know that putting-up a good ensemble of nice skirts and tops would be enough to look decent and fab (in my own little way).

#5 MUST HAVE: black stockings

Having humongous thighs pisses me off as it limits me from wearing anything four-inches above the knee. Good thing black stockings were created! Hurrah! I have purchased mine last week in the hopes of wearing all those pretty little dresses.

Dear God, bless me with the strength to find that big fab chick in me. Grace me with all the resources and courage. :) (teehee)

Fat, Flabbed, Flipped... and Everything Else in Between

Never in my entire dreams have I ever thought of dressing myself and wanting to look pretty. Yes, I am a girl but I really don't see myself as any of those typical girl-next-door, preppy, fab types of girls.

My life is a vacuum. A constant force-field of "the never changing." After hearing a lot of deals and spills from my friends, family, and my other half, I have somehow gained interest in fashion and personal expression.

Before, I thought wearing clothes would never be about my self-expression but I just hooked at it.

... and so, I am now gathering everything fashion-related that goes straight to my heart. This space right here will serve as a personal diary. A time capsule as well, I guess.
